Tips on Writing Stories for Children
Some of the information I found particularly helpful was the tips on how to brainstorm ideas for your story. While your brainstorming you should think hard on what your going to write about. Another piece of information I found that was important and helpful was developing your characters. The main character or characters is one of the most important pieces of work in your story. There is some information that is similar to what I wrote about in my last blog post. One thing is that all the stories are age appropriate, has pictures, has flair, and has a main character. The information I found helpful on how to write dialogue was, having to reveal the characters and their relationships with each other. Another fact was to move the story forward with the dialogue you have. I think that you should be marked on if your story is easy to follow and understand, if the headline makes you want to read it, and if there is any grammar or spelling errors.
